Duchess Meghan Markle had a stylish outing over the weekend. On Saturday, she made a surprise appearance at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala. Markle opted for a bright red dress with a plunging neckline. She accessorized the outfit with other fashionable accessories and walked the green carpet to pose for photos. At the gala, Markle was joined by Kelly Mckee Zajfen, founder of Alliance of Moms.

Duchess Meghan Markle, who wore a Carolina Herrera dress to the gala, appeared to beam as she walked the green carpet at the JW Marriott Los Angeles Live. The bright red dress featured a halter top with a plunging neckline. The skirt also had a high slit, which gave the ensemble an elegant look. She paired her outfit with simple accessories and red strappy sandals.

Harper’s Bazaar reported that Duchess Megan Markle restyled the outfit following her 2021 appearance with her husband Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, at the Intrepid Museum’s Salute to Freedom gala. This time the dress attracted more attention as Markle released the detachable train in the dress to let the slit shine. The “Suits” actress also kept accessories to a minimum, wearing diamond earrings, a gold Cartier Love bracelet and rings. She wore simple makeup and let her hair fall in soft waves with a middle part.

According to Elle, the Duchess of Sussex has previously worked with the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. In a red carpet interview, Markle shared her thoughts on the gala. She said the work of the staff and those associated with Children’s Hospital LA was “out of this world.” Markle added: “I think from my perspective as a mother, no one wants to be able to go to a place like this, but if they have to, the best place in the world to go would be Children’s Hospital LA” She also thanked the hospital staff, calling them “incredible.”

Although Prince Harry reportedly did not attend the event, the gala in Los Angeles hosted celebrity guests including Chuck Lorre, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kaley Cuoco, Jimmy Kimmel, Demi Lovato and more.
