Druski claps back to Rubi Rose

The comedian took some time to respond after Rubi apparently revealed their relationship earlier this month.

Roommates, if you remember, Rubi posted a few now-deleted tweets on X (formerly Twitter) claiming that her relationship with Druski was just for PR.

Well, Druski jumped into the chat to refute the allegations.

On Friday (September 27), the “Praise This” actor shared a series of photos on Instagram. The images include moments from current events and a trip to Turks and Caicos.

Druski simply captioned the post: “Never needed PR” along with a laughing emoji.

The social media star also included an edited picture of himself on a movie flyer for the film “Love’ Don’t Cost A Thing” in his Instagram post.

Druski’s fans were quick to notice his caption, which suggested he was throwing shade at Rubi Rose in response to her comments.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Rubi Rose took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on September 17 to get some things off her chest.

The “Cherry” rapper appeared to be referring to Druski when he wrote, “And for the record I never slept with this man, I paid for the PR. Not the pussy…”

In a follow-up post, Rubi Rose mentioned that Druski was “nice and funny.” She also clarified that she does not enter into intimate relationships unless she is in love.

“I only give up when I’m in love, no matter how much money someone has. I’m rich, ask lol,” I explained to Rose.

Although their relationship was short-lived, Rubi Rose and Druski took over social media with frequent updates and cute photos. They shared everything with their followers, from breakfast preparation to cakes and anniversary surprises.

According to TSR, the femcee and the comedian officially confirmed their romance in April when Druski posted a photo of himself gazing into Rubi’s eyes on a beach in Punta Cana.

However, in July, Druski told The JasmineBrand that he and Rubi had mutually decided to end their relationship.
