Big discounts are the order of the day on Steam. 75, 80 or sometimes even 90 percent price reductions are not uncommon. But bargain hunters have to be careful. Because some developers lure customers with gigantic discounts of 99 percent, which are completely far-fetched.
Steam bargains? No way! Keep your eyes open when buying games

These bundles are regularly offered at a significant discount on Steam. This reduces the purchase price by gigantic 99. In this way, a game bundle with 31 games costs what would normally be over 6,000 euros, suddenly only 57.72 euros (check it out on Steam). The deal of the century, right?
No way. With this trick, developers and publishers try to create the impression that players can save a lot of money – although they don’t expect to sell any of their games at full price anyway. It’s just about having the games on sale as often as possible.
Rip-off on Steam: Valve must act
Even though the majority of Steam players hopefully realize that this is a perfidious scam and in the end everyone is responsible for their own purchase: This can’t go on like this, Valve!
Unknowing customers are deceived and Brazenly ripped off. Such developers and publishers have no place in your shop and should, in my opinion, be blocked immediately. Especially since a quick look was enough to determine that the supposed bargains were cheapest shovelware is about.
