Devara Part 1: Will the craze have the expected impact of Jr NTR starrer?

The Telugu Film’Devara part 1‘ is set to hit theaters tomorrow, September 27th. Director: Kortala SivaThe film stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The rest of the cast includes Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Shruti Marathe, Kalaiarasan among other things. The music for the film was composed by Anirudh Ravichander and all four songs of the film received lukewarm response from the audience.
The trailer and the release trailer were released a few days ago and created a lot of anticipation among the audience. The film was made on a budget of Rs 300 crore and is U/A certified. The trailer of the film shows us the brotherhood between Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Jr NTR plays a dual role as father and son in the film and the film gives us a clear clarity on how far apart the two characters are from each other in terms of bravery and villainy.
Saif Ali Khan makes his Tollywood debut with this film and his character is highlighted as a merciless man while Janhvi Kapoor plays the love interest of Jr NTR. The film is an action drama set on a coastal stretch and tells the story of a fearless man, Devara. The film depicts the rivalry between Devara and Bhaira and how his son Vara, who has inherited the inheritance, manages to protect his people after Devara’s death.
The film has already grossed Rs 20 crore through advance sales and ticket sales in India and $2 million in North America. The film is expected to gross Rs 100 crore at the box office on the first day of its release. There is a lot of enthusiasm for the film and the FDFS show is scheduled for 1 am in Andhra Pradesh.
Since the film marks Jr NTR’s solo release after ‘RRR’, it is still questionable whether this move will have a similar impact as the film that earned him the title ‘Man of Masses’.
