Demi Moore explained the intense postnatal workouts she undertook due to societal “pressure”

We’ve heard heartbreaking things about how women feel pressured to get back on their feet after having a baby. We’ve heard about the societal pressure that forces women to lose weight immediately, and in recent years, many women, including celebrities, have protested against that notion. However, Demi Moore just shared an insight into the tough method she used to try to get her body back to its pre-baby state, which included riding her bike 60 miles a day. (Yes, you read that right, 60 miles a day.)

In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the substance The actress talked about how much pressure she felt to lose weight immediately after giving birth and that she went to pretty extreme measures to achieve that.

“I put so much pressure on myself,” Moore recalled. “I experienced being told to lose weight. And while that may have been embarrassing and humiliating, that was what I was doing to myself.”

She told how she cycled 60 miles a day while filming the movie An immoral offerShe rode her bike from her home to the set, which was 30 miles away.

“I think she was about five or six months old when we filmed (An immoral offer). So I fed her all night, got up in the dark with a trainer and a headlamp and rode my bike to Paramount, wherever, even to the place where we were shooting. It’s so heartbreaking that so many women feel the need to do this, but we love that women are becoming more vulnerable and speaking more openly about their experiences. It breaks our hearts that Moore had to go through this, but she made it clear that she’s living her best life now (and we really like to hear that).

For those who don’t know, Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis have three daughters: Rumer Glenn (born 1988), Scout LaRue (born 1991) and Tallulah Belle (born 1994).
