Death of Lucas Coly – French-American rapper dies at the age of 27

Lucas Coly, a musician and social media star, has died, leaving his fans in complete shock. He was 27.

Coly’s death was confirmed by his manager, who posted a post on Instagram announcing the extremely sad news. He died on Thursday, October 2, 2024.

“Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you brother. My heart is torn in half. Wait for me up there 🙏” His manager’s post read.

Coly’s death came shortly after he posted a cryptic message on social media that read, “I love you all.” No cause of death has been officially announced, but there is speculation that he committed suicide.

His manager also hinted at the cause of Lucas’ death as he urged people to check on their friends if they were struggling mentally.

“There’s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We talked about our problems the whole time but smiled for the fans.” he wrote. “So many people hurt us over and over again, but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now… I refuse to believe that you’re gone. Heart torn to pieces. God send him back here. Please 💔 I’m broken here #riplucascoly #checkonyourfriends”

French-American rapper Lucas Coly aka Kid Lucas was born in France and moved to the USA with his family at the age of eight. He grew up in Texas and Detroit.

Lucas Coly rose to fame on Vine over a decade ago when he began sharing rape videos in English and French. He managed to build his social media following on Twitter and Instagram as well and currently has over a million followers Instagram and half a million on his YouTube Page.

Coly’s fame rose even further after he began dating Instagram star Amber H in 2017 and they launched a YouTube channel called Lucas & Amber in 2018.

He was also in a group with Willie Fryson III and Dillyn Troy for a time, but their rap group Diamondz eventually split up so they could pursue solo careers.

The news of Coly’s death shocked social media and sparked numerous reactions from distraught fans.
