“A Quiet Place: Day One is another excellent entry in the series. It delivers the expected moments of suspense, but also has an emotional core that you might not expect.”

Empire Magazine

A solid addition to A Quiet Place, enhanced by poignant performances from Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, this is a surprisingly tender end-of-days story.

The times

“The unpromising third part of a series that was already exhausted with Part II turns out to be the best Quiet Place yet. It is original and imaginative, yes, but also thoughtful.”

Rolling Stone

“While the film may not fully satisfy the primal cravings that drive us to summer movies in the first place, it does bring a breath of fresh air to a series that is in danger of becoming boring and stale.”

Vanity Fair

“How refreshingly beautiful it is to see a summer film that lets us dwell on our feelings and dark memories in this way and sees it as an adventure in itself.”

observer

“What could have been a bloated, small-scale extension of a successful horror story is instead a worthy successor and a strong film in its own right. If every profitable film has to spawn a franchise, then this is exactly the way it should be done.”
