Davante Adams calls rumors that he is unhappy in Las Vegas “bullshit”

Davante Adams stressed that he is happy in Las Vegas as a player for the Raiders. He also made it clear that he is not happy with former NFL receiver DeSean Jackson.

Jackson recently appeared on “The Herd” with Colin Cowherd and said he spoke to Adams about his dissatisfaction with the Raiders.

Adams teed off against Jackson on Wednesday.

“Facts are facts, and that is not a fact“I’ve probably talked to DeSean Jackson three or four times in my life, and I’ve never had a conversation with him (about my dissatisfaction with the Raiders). … I’ve never talked to him about anything. The only person I really talk to about my feelings in general is probably my wife, and she doesn’t leak and drop stuff like that in the media. Again, whatever you see, if it’s not firsthand, it’s probably bullshit. I don’t like it when that stuff happens. At the end of the day, I don’t care because I live my life and I got to where I got to in life, in this game, whatever, just because I didn’t really pay much attention to what people were saying and didn’t address it. I didn’t even respond, which is why you didn’t really hear me come out and say, ‘Oh, that’s not true; that’s not true.’ I don’t want to pay any attention to that. As soon as it comes out of my mouth, it’s everywhere. I guess they got what they wanted this time.

“Whatever has come out lately is complete nonsense. … Saying I’m angry or unhappy with this organization is just nonsense designed to confuse everyone and attract clickbait. Everyone wants to see what Davante has to say. ‘He’s mad in Vegas.’ If I was mad, I wouldn’t be here right now.”

Adams and his Agents refuted trade rumors this offseason after Aaron Rodgers mentioned a reunion with Adams to a fan during the American Century Championship golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. Packers running back Josh Jacobs, who was with Adams in Las Vegas, also fueled transfer rumors when he said he had “made contact” with Adams to inform him of a return to Green Bay.

Adams, however, remains, at least for now, exactly where he is.

“Whatever you hear out of my mouth is what you get,” Adams said Wednesday. “I don’t think any of you, standing in front of me, feel like I want to leave this place, and if you do, you’re just supporting the crap that they’re putting out there.”

Adams, who played quarterback under Rodgers in Green Bay, will begin his third season in Las Vegas with his sixth starting quarterback, Gardner Minshew. With the Raiders, he made 203 catches for 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns.
