A new analysis has identified the best and worst airports for early morning and late night departures, and CVG featured prominently on several of the lists.

CVG secured a spot on the list of best airports for early morning flights, but was also named the worst airport for late night flights.

The analysis, conducted by travel magazine Upgraded Points, examined the frequency of flights departing before 8 a.m. and after 8 p.m., the percentage of delayed flights and the availability of beverages suitable for late-night or early-morning consumption at 50 of the busiest U.S. airports.

The results are intended to help travelers plan ahead and make informed travel decisions, the publication says.

“Booking the first flight or an overnight flight can greatly improve your travel experience,” said Alex Miller, founder of Upgraded Points, in a statement to USA TODAY. “These off-peak flights are often less crowded, meaning shorter security lines and less hassle overall. Additionally, flights during these times are typically less expensive, providing a budget-friendly option for travelers. Early and late flights are less prone to delays because they avoid the busiest times of day, making your travel plans more reliable.”
