Tata Consulting Services (TCS) has completely changed Cromas Commerce operations to a cloud model.
What happened: TCS has leveraged its AI-driven, unified composable platform, TCS OmniStoreto enable mobile payments in all Croma stores, said a press release on Monday. This change has led to an increase in sales and customer frequency at Croma, while also reducing the payment time for customers.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our unique and truly integrated partnership with TCS to co-evolve and innovate multiple aspects of the customer experience.”

The innovative cloud-based POS model eliminates the need for traditional on-site special hardware and allows Croma to speed up the checkout process by four times. In addition, Croma was able to optimize 83% of the POS area, creating more space for sales.

Price promotion: Shares of TCS fell 0.14% to ₹4,222.95 on Monday afternoon.
