According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker CeeDee Lamb was reportedly “accountable and committed to his teammates all week.”

Lamb did not appear to be happy during the team’s 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, as he had an incidental argument with Dak Prescott and did not speak to reporters after the loss.

Lamb had a difficult performance of his own, catching just four passes on seven targets for 67 yards and losing a fumble. On Tuesday he apologized for his trip and his entire behavior.

“I expect a lot from myself – more than anyone could ask of me,” he told reporters. “And honestly, I let myself down, and of course I let the team down as well in terms of production and game-winning honesty with myself and I contributed a part to that loss, a big part, honestly said, and (neither) my body language nor my attitude helped change the outcome of the game.”

The 25-year-old got off to a slow start this season after signing a four-year, $136 million contract extension in August, catching 13 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown on 24 scores. The Cowboys, on the other hand, got off to a bad start with a double win.

But Lamb also got off to a slow start in the 2023 season, with just a single 100-yard game in the Cowboys’ first five games. He then recorded 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns, solidifying his status as one of the game’s best wide receivers.

It also solidified Prescott and Lamb as one of the best passing duos in football, and Lamb was quick to point out this week that nothing has changed between the two.

“We understand the urgency and that is our business,” he told reporters. “We talk about it every day, every night and, if anything, our relationship has become stronger. Don’t be fooled by what’s out there. We are brothers until the end and we know that we are all that we have. I I have great respect for him and consider him a brother. Everything will come out – the energy, the passion, the love, the fight, and we will reconcile. In the end there will be no madness.

What the Cowboys would like, however, is that there would be more wins.
