Experience full laps in a NASCAR race car during a race in 1970
See what racing was like inside a race car at a NASCAR event over 50 years ago.
Cole Custer fought back from a flat tire on Lap 1 to win the Food City 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday.
Custer controlled the final stage and won by 0.896 seconds ahead of Sheldon Creed, who again took second place.
Custer secured the Xfinity Series regular season title by winning and overcoming the difficulties of Justin Allgaier, who was involved in several incidents and finished 30th, 10 laps down.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished seventh in his only Xfinity Series start this season. Earnhardt battled radio issues during the first stage but worked his way into the top 10, where he ran the second half of the event.
Earnhardt stated before the race that he had not signed up to race in 2025 as he normally does. But he told the CW Network’s post-race show that he would like to work on the broadcast with Amazon Prime in 2025 as a new job and return for more Xfinity Series races in 2026.
