Children of Sean “Diddy” Combs criticize their mother’s alleged “memoirs” | Sean “Diddy” Combs

The children of Sean “Diddy” Combs have vehemently defended themselves against rumors about their mother Kim Porter. A book has been published about the mother that the model allegedly wrote before her death in 2018.

Christian, 26, and 17-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila, as well as Quincy Brown, Porter’s son with Al B Sure, whom Combs raised, released a statement on Instagram saying: “We have heard so many hurtful and false rumors about our parents Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship. And also about the tragic death of our mother.”

The comments refer to a purported autobiography titled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side, which was published days before Combs’ arrest on charges of conspiracy to commit organized crime, forced prostitution and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. His children have not commented on the allegations, which Combs denies.

The book, which is said to have been taken from Porter’s diaries, which she saved on a USB stick and distributed to friends before her death, was published under Porter’s name and the pseudonym “Jamal T Millwood.” It is currently ranked number 3 on Amazon’s literature and fiction sales charts.

Combs and Porter’s children are now reportedly seeking legal advice regarding the alleged 58-page memoir, which allegedly describes disturbing and explicit sexual encounters between Combs and other celebrities.

Combs’ lawyers have said the book is “false” and “offensive” and “a shameless attempt to profit from the tragedy.” A source close to the family told People magazine that the author, Chris Todd, has “no connection to Kim Porter or her family.”

Todd told Rolling Stone, “If someone were to corner me and say, ‘Life or death, is this book real?’ I would have to say I don’t know. But for me, it’s real enough.”

Combs and Porter’s children said in the statement: “Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world and nothing has been the same since her death. Although it has been incredibly difficult to understand how she could have been taken from us so young, the cause of death has long been determined. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process and we ask that everyone respect our wish for peace.”

The Guardian has contacted a source and offered interviews with the alleged co-author.

Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty in New York and is being held without bail while awaiting trial. He is reportedly sharing the same dormitory-like room in jail at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center as cryptocurrency scammer Sam Bankman-Fried and others, the New York Times reported.

The statement from Combs and Porter’s children comes after an 11th civil sexual abuse lawsuit was filed against the hip-hop mogul on Tuesday. Thalia Graves alleges that Combs and his bodyguard sexually abused her in 2001 and distributed a video of their assault, “including by selling it as pornography.”

Graves said she met Combs in late 1999 when her then-boyfriend was working as an executive at Bad Boy Records, Combs’ music label.

Separately, Netflix has announced a docuseries about rapper 50 Cent, who has been at loggerheads with Combs for a long time. The series will focus on allegations of sex trafficking and organized crime, as well as sexual assault and violent abuse that 50 Cent has made against Combs.

“While the allegations are disturbing, we want to remind everyone that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We want to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the broader contributions to the culture,” 50 Cent and series director Alexandria Stapleton told Variety.
