A private beach, views of the Hudson River, on-site equestrian facilities—Westchester’s luxury homes are all different, but all offer elegance if you have the cash to spare.

We reviewed the five most expensive homes on the market in Westchester, with locations in Bedford, Rye, North Salem, Chappaqua and Irvington.

The most expensive listing as of July 31 was a 3,700-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom colonial in Bedford on a 100-acre lot with woods, green lawns and mature trees. It went for $14.9 million. The most expensive home sold last year was a 26-acre lot in Bedford Corners that sold for $13.55 million.

Custom built in 2004, this 770-square-foot, five-bedroom, eight-bathroom stone and slate home offers views of Long Island Sound to the east and Tide Mill Harbor out front. This home is located in a gated community where residents enjoy biking on private roads, launching boats on Long Island Sound from the community harbor, or relaxing on the private beach.

Built in 1906, this 650-square-foot home features five en-suite bedrooms, four additional half baths, a gym, multiple offices and family rooms, a heated swimming pool with LED lighting, and a three-car garage. It is equipped with smart lighting, radiant heat, Sonos sound, and a full camera security system. There is a separate Greek Revival-style guest house/office with a sunlit walk-through.
