The latest photo of Maggie Smith in a fashion campaign for Loewe has emerged.

The popular actress, who died on Friday at the age of 89, was named the new face of the luxury fashion house in October 2023.

Smith posed for a series of stunning photos while modeling for the Spanish brand.

In one shot, the Downton Abbey star smiled for the camera, wearing an oversized shaggy coat and holding an olive green handbag.

Her hair delicately framed her face and she adorned it with rings.

A second shot showed Smith sitting in a black and white dress, unsmiling, looking at the camera while holding a maroon handbag.

Smith’s sons Toby Stephens and Chris Larkin announced the veteran star’s death in a statement Friday morning.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dame Maggie Smith. She was an extremely private person and ended up hanging out with friends and family. She leaves behind two sons and five loving grandchildren who are devastated by the loss of their extraordinary mother and grandmother.”

Born on December 28, 1934, in Ilford, England, Smith left behind a long list of accolades, including the iconic, stern Professor McGonagall in the eight “Harry Potter” films and the acerbic Dowager Countess of Grantham in “Downton Abbey.” ”

The lady also starred in “Sister Act” alongside Whoopi Goldberg. The View co-host paid tribute to her late co-star in a touching Instagram post.

“Maggie Smith was a great woman and a brilliant actress. “I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to work with the ‘one of a kind,'” the 68-year-old wrote on Instagram. “My sincere condolences to the family…RIP.”

Goldberg included a photo of himself and Smith from the hit 1992 comedy, and fans flocked to the comments section to share their fond memories of the classic film.

Goldberg himself hoped the same. The talk show host has previously stated that she would only reprise her role in a potential threequel if Smith did too.

During an appearance on the British talk show “Loose Women” in 2023, Goldberg said that she had “the role of matron” to the “Downton Abbey” star.

A year later, the two reprized their roles in the sequel to the film, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. In 2020, Disney announced that there would be a third installment of “Sister Act” coming to Disney+.

In June, actress Tanya Trotter announced that the script for “Sister Act 3” had been completed.
