Wednesday: 10% chance of isolated rain showers on Wednesday afternoon and early evening, with plenty of dry spells. Partly to mostly cloudy skies and near-normal highs of 25 to 25 degrees.

Thursday to weekend: We have developed a complicated setup that could bring between 1″ and 3″+ rainfall within four days. An upper-level low pressure system is expected to drift southward and interact with the remnants of Tropical Storm Helene. Helene will weaken and dissipate, and the upper-level low pressure system will continue to dominate, but this will result in rain chances Thursday through Sunday. While it’s best to expect some rain during these days, that’s no guarantee that all plans will be ruined.

Actually, Thursdays The probability has dropped to 30%, there is plenty of dry time and the chance of rain will peak in the evening.

Friday-Sunday we are not sure yet what specifics we will be planning. We expect rain to be possible, and the heaviest rain will likely occur in the southern half of our coverage area. You should not cancel your plans at this time, but be aware that some activities may be affected by the rain. Check back later for updates when we have a better and more detailed picture of what to expect Friday into Sunday.
