Cook, the Buffalo Bills’ starting running back, played an impressive game in the first two quarters of Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, scoring three touchdowns that gave the Bills a 24-7 lead at halftime.

Cook, a third-year player from Georgia, needed just five carries in the first half to gain 60 yards and two touchdowns when he burst through the middle of the field for a 49-yard touchdown late in the second quarter. He also caught a 17-yard touchdown in the first quarter before scoring a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

The former second-round pick rushed for over 1,500 total yards for the Bills last season, and after his performance against the Dolphins on Thursday night, he appears ready to repeat his strong season.

Yes, Cook is related to NFL running back Dalvin Cook, who is currently on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.

Cook, a longtime starter for the Minnesota Vikings, ran for over 1,000 yards in every season from 2019 to 2022. He played the 2023 season with the New York Jets, where he backed up star running back Breece Hall.
