Bill Belichick, ManningCast, was uncomfortable when ESPN showed Taylor Swift

Bill Belichick didn’t seem pleased when ESPN cameras showed Taylor Swift celebrating another catch by her boyfriend Travis Kelce at the Chiefs-Saints game on Monday.

The free-agent NFL coach, who has been busy with numerous media appearances since parting ways with the Patriots in January, appeared on ESPN’s “ManningCast” alongside Eli Manning and Peyton Manning and let out an embarrassed sigh as the Cameras captured Swift cheering in Kelce’s family suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

Belichick said nothing and simply took an awkward pause as the former quarterbacks smiled and laughed.

The moment occurred less than a minute before halftime and the Chiefs led 13-7.

Belichick responded to another catch by Kelce, who had a productive night in the absence of Chiefs outside hitter Rashee Rice — who was sidelined after suffering a likely season-ending knee injury in a win over the Chargers in Week 4.

“Great first half for Kelce,” Belichick said. “Too big. Too big.”

Kelce finished the game with a game-high nine catches for 70 yards.

Belichick was jokingly unhappy with Kelce’s big night after a slow start to the season, and it’s possible his sigh – a disappointing “ugh” sound – was directed at the three-time Super Bowl champion.

In a recent photo shared on Instagram by his girlfriend, 23-year-old Jordon Hudson, the trainer was seen wearing a Swift sweatshirt.

Belichick also reportedly attended one of Swift’s concerts in Amsterdam over the Fourth of July weekend.

The coach previously praised Swift as she has performed at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on multiple occasions.

The Chiefs, who improved to 5-0 on Monday, have a week off before facing the 49ers (2-3) in a Super Bowl rematch on Oct. 20 in San Francisco.
