Ben Affleck could hardly contain his joy as food was delivered to his rental home in Brentwood, California, days after his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce.
According to photos obtained by Page Six, the “Gone Girl” actor grinned as he picked up his Jack In The Box meal from a delivery man who drove up in a white car on Saturday.
Affleck, 52, wore a blue Nirvana T-shirt, jeans and sneakers as he picked up his food and drinks.
On Tuesday, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck after just two years.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Selena” actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and gave the separation date as April 26, 2024.
Lopez, 55, also waived her right to spousal support and asked the judge to deny it to her estranged husband.
The “Gigli” co-stars did not have a prenuptial agreement, meaning that any income and assets accumulated during their marriage are considered “community property” and can be divided equally.
A friend of Lopez exclusively told Page Six that she did everything she could to save the marriage, but claimed Affleck had “a dark side to him.”
According to another source, problems between the former couple began during their honeymoon in Italy.
“He wasn’t happy about the paparazzi following them. She’s an international superstar and he acted like it was a surprise that they were being followed,” the insider told us.
The source also told us that when the two weren’t in the public eye, “they barely spoke to each other during what was supposedly the happiest time of their lives.”
“He convinced them he was a different person, and that only lasted for a very short time.”
While the mother of two and the “Argo” star spent most of the summer apart, he made time for new friends.
Page Six exclusively reported that Affleck recently spent time with Kick Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The two were seen at the Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hills Hotel and other hotspots.
Lopez and Affleck eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 and had a lavish wedding in Georgia the following month.
The Oscar winner is the father of children Violet (18), Seraphina (15) and Samuel (12), whom she has with her ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The “I’m Real” singer is mother of twins Max and Emme, both 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
