Ben Affleck appeared to be in high spirits as he picked up a fast-food meal on Saturday, days after his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce.
The 52-year-old Argo director beamed as he carried food and drinks from Jack In the Box to his Brentwood rental home, deciding to spend his weekend indoors.
The actor, who was recently linked to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s 36-year-old daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, wore a blue Nirvana T-shirt that showed off his muscles.
He rounded off the casual look with blue jeans and sneakers.
It was previously announced that 55-year-old Lopez was “relieved” to have taken the official step of ending her marriage to Affleck on the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.

Following the news of his divorce, Ben has reportedly been spotted with RFK Jr.’s daughter Kick in recent weeks.
According to sources, he previously had a brief affair with Kick before rekindling his relationship with his now estranged wife Lopez.
Insiders told DailyMail.com that Kick and Ben “enjoy spending time together,” but the author is “keeping quiet” about their relationship because she doesn’t want to be seen as a “mistress.”
“Ben and Kick had an affair before he got back together with JLo,” the source began. “They met because Ben is from Boston and when you live in Boston, the Kennedy family is like royalty.”
The insider continued, “When he started hanging out with Kick, he really thought he had landed in the Kennedy family. But she was too young and not ready for anything serious.”
The source stressed that there was never any overlap between the couple’s romance and the actor’s rekindled relationship with Jennifer.
“They didn’t have an affair during his marriage, but Kick’s friends find it interesting that immediately after the divorce, Ben suddenly starts hanging out with an old acquaintance whose family he considers to be royalty.”
Regarding Kick’s opinion of the actor, the insider explained: “She thinks he’s intelligent and very much her style, but he’s incredibly tight-lipped because she doesn’t want to be seen as a mistress.”

The source explained that Kick isn’t too concerned about what Jennifer might think about Ben’s decision to get back in touch, adding, “Kick likes Ben and she honestly doesn’t care what JLo thinks.”
“When they started dating, he and JLo were separated. He made that very clear to her. JLo reporting her split with April only confirmed that.”
The source continued, “They both live day to day, but so far she’s enjoying her time with him. They spend time at the Beverly Hills Hotel because it offers celebs a level of privacy that can’t be found anywhere else.”
“The fact that people say she looks like Jen Garner flatters her because she thinks Jen is beautiful.”
Meanwhile, a second source confirmed that the two are getting to know each other better: “Ben has been spending time with Kick, but nothing has happened yet.”
“They’re friends and they enjoy spending time together. And it’s true that she doesn’t worry about what JLo would think if she spent time with Ben. He’s a great guy and they’re just getting to know each other.”
Meanwhile, Lopez is doing “as well as she can,” even though she “doesn’t want a divorce” from the actor, a source told People on Monday.

“After filing for divorce, she seems relieved,” a source told People, although they noted that Lopez “didn’t want a divorce. She wanted to work things out”; the couple were seen together in February.

Notably, Jennifer filed the divorce papers herself and did not have an attorney listed as her representative, although she may do so in the future.

Although she was the one who filed for divorce and Ben apparently decided against it, Us Weekly reported on Friday that he was allegedly well aware of her plans.
According to an insider, the estranged couple “had already agreed to these terms before she filed for divorce.”
They said the two had gone through “all the details” of the proposal in advance, describing it as a “planned” event rather than a proposal meant to surprise Ben.
“JLo finally pulled the trigger because it was their agreement that she would file for divorce and she was the one who ultimately made the decision,” the source added.
The reporting is largely consistent with the couple’s decision to fake a healthy marriage for months and to occasionally appear together in public, even though a separation had already occurred behind the scenes.
The source noted that both parties “brought significant assets of their own,” so they reportedly don’t plan to fight over their wealth. Their massive Beverly Hills mansion is their only significant joint property that needs to be sold.
Jennifer and Ben married in an intimate ceremony on July 16, 2022, but later tied the knot for a second time in front of family and friends on August 20, 2022, at Ben’s South Carolina estate – two years to the day before she filed for divorce.
Ben and Jennifer became engaged in late 2002, but broke up a year later before finally ending their relationship in 2004.
Accordingly, Jennifer did not demand spousal support from her ex and asked the court to deny it for Ben.
She stated that the date of their separation was April 26.
