Badgers news: Game Thread vs. USC Trojans

The Wisconsin Badgers just completed their first bye week of the season and hit the road for the first time when they take on the No. 13 USC Trojans in Week 5. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Coliseum.

Wisconsin last lost a 42-10 game to the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 3, where they lost starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke to a torn ACL, dropping them to 2-1 on the year.

The Trojans, meanwhile, are coming off a 27-24 loss to the No. 11 Michigan Wolverines, where they came up just short in their first-ever Big Ten contest. At 3-1, they will look to keep things even at home this weekend when they host the Badgers on Saturday.

The Badgers, who are considered underdogs at 14.5 points, are looking to pull off a big upset here as they have another top 15 opponent on the schedule. However, Wisconsin will have a number of questions to answer as their last performance against Alabama left a lot to be desired.

Wisconsin comes into the game fairly cleanly according to the injury report, with Thomas Heiberger being the only questionable player for the game.
