Celebrate, participate, contribute: TikTok Shop supports communities for the start of school

Summer is coming to an end and fall is just around the corner. That can only mean one thing: school is starting again. Highlights from TikTok Shop’s Back to School Campaign and Community Engagement

Earlier this month, TikTok Shop launched the Back to School campaign with five days of exclusive deals and fun tips from creators and brands to help parents and students prepare for the upcoming school year. The campaign included products from top brands like Doritos, Liquid IV, Ninja Kitchen US, Shark Home and Too Faced, as well as new product launches from companies like Bic Store, Uni Brands and Arzopa.

The TikTok Shop Back to School campaign saw 482,000 videos published over five days, leading to 2.1 million users making purchases. The campaign also included 76,000 hosted livestreams, through which 293,000 users purchased products, contributing to a total of 6.3 million orders during the campaign period.

Additionally, TikTok community members were able to engage LIVE with top creators, giving them access to exclusive deals on popular products from retailers like Pop Mart (@popmart.usshop), which had its highest-grossing livestream to date during TikTok Shop’s back-to-school campaign.

The best-selling products on TikTok Shop during the back-to-school campaign included Lenovo Erazer True Wireless Open Ear Earbuds, 10000mAh Portable Power Bank, CAKES Covers, Birria Bombs 2-Pack of EZ Bombs Seasoning Spice Bomb Flavor, Wavytalk Negative Ion Hair Straightening Brush, and GOPURE Neck Cream.

Expanding our effective collaboration with the National PTA

TikTok Shop is helping to usher in the new school year during the National PTA’s Back-to-School Week, September 9-13, including a $100,000 donation to fund activities and purchase classroom supplies for select schools in Maryland and Washington state.

The following week, TikTok Shop, as a growing employer in the Seattle area, will also recognize and support local teachers through a special delivery of back-to-school kits. The kits will be filled with coveted items from TikTok Shop’s top sellers and most in-demand brands, ensuring teachers feel ready to tackle the new school year in the classroom and beyond.
