Ariana Madix‘s brother is in HUGE trouble with the authorities after he was stopped by officials before he could board a flight to Germany earlier this year and officers allegedly found a TON of marijuana in his luggage!

Together with an accomplice, the TMZ identified on Saturday as Jonah AhadJeremy was scheduled to board a flight to Frankfurt, Germany on February 16.
That didn’t happen, however, because the officers tracking his luggage stopped it before the suitcases could reach the plane and checked it for contraband. And what they found was weed. A LOT of weed!!

Pro the TMZ According to a report citing newly available court documents that no one had seen before Saturday morning, Jeremy and Jonah allegedly had more than 100 pounds of marijuana in their luggage. The marijuana was spread across three different suitcases. Two of those bags allegedly belonged to Madix and contained 64 packaged bags of marijuana that weighed a total of 76 pounds.
The third bag is said to have belonged to Ahad and contained 31 wrapped packets of grass, which together weighed 37 pounds. Together, that is a tonne Ganja! Exactly 101 pounds of it!

As expected, the duo didn’t even make it through airport security before the weed was discovered. Officials from Customs and border protection searched and then confiscated the couple’s suitcases. This is some serious suspected smuggling that the CBP folks have foiled! Over 100 pounds is no joke.
But interestingly, neither man was arrested immediately when the weed was found. Huh?!?! TMZ In their report on Saturday morning, they said they were trying to find out why there were no arrests. The investigation was handed over to the Orlando Police DepartmentHowever, no reason has been given for not making the arrests immediately.
Yet both men were eventually caught and sent to prison. Ahad was arrested back in May and charged with illegal cannabis trafficking. And Ariana’s brother was taken into custody last Tuesday on the same charge. That’s why this report is only coming out now, as his corresponding court documents were filed just days ago, even though the alleged crime took place six months ago. Crazy!
When we last reported on this earlier this year, Ariana hadn’t spoken to Jeremy for months and the duo were more or less estranged at the time, so who knows if this was even on her radar before the arrest.
