“American Pickers” star Frank Fritz has died at the age of 60

One of the stars of “American Pickers,” Frank Fritz, has died. He was 60.

Costar and boyfriend Mike Wolfe confirmed the news in a social media post on Tuesday.

“It is with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night,” Wolfe wrote on Instagram. “I’ve known Frank for more than half my life and what you saw on TV was always what I saw: a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny. The same thing off camera as on camera.” “Frank had the opportunity to reach the hearts of so many people just by being himself.”

A cause of death for Fritz has not been announced.

American Pickers is a hit History Channel show that first aired in 2010 and stars Mike Wolf, the owner of Antique Archeology. The show followed Wolf and his buddy Frank Fritz as they traveled across the country looking for antiques and collectibles.

“Before the show, we set off together to places we never knew existed, with no destination in mind and only a shared passion to discover something interesting and historic,” Wolfe continued. “We have been on countless journeys and covered so many miles together and I feel blessed to have been by his side as he made one final journey home. I love you, buddy, and will miss you so much knowing you’re in a better place.
