The Crown is one of Netflix’s biggest hits and unfortunately ended with the sixth season.

If you don’t know, the popular series tells the story of the British royal family from the beginning of the Queen Elizabeth II.rule in the 1950s.

The Crown is unique among popular television series in that new actors are introduced every two seasons to reflect the changing ages of the characters, as each season is set a decade later than the previous one.

The main actors include Claire Foy And Matt Smithwho portrayed the Queen and Prince Philip in seasons 1 and 2. The couple’s successors were Olivia Colman And Tobias Menzies in seasons 3 and 4. Imelda Staunton And Jonathan Pryce played the main role in season 5.

Other notable actors include Emma Corrin And Elisabeth Debickiwho played Princess Diana in seasons 4 and 5 and Josh O’Connor And Dominic Westwho played the future King Charles in seasons 4 and 5.

The Crown has won 21 Emmy Awards from 69 nominations.

FYI, in case you don’t know, Rotten Tomatoes rates a movie as “fresh” if “at least 60% of reviews for a movie or TV show are positive,” and rates a movie as “certified fresh” if it has “a consistent Tomatometer score of 75% or higher” and “at least five reviews from top critics,” among other criteria.
