Alabama Football vs. Georgia Injury Report: Who’s in and out?

For the first time in program history, Alabama Football’s required game day availability report was released by the SEC. All three of the Crimson Tide’s entries into the report during the week were listed as game-time decisions in Saturday’s game against Georgia.

Linebackers Jeremiah Alexander and Qua Russaw and running back Richard Young were listed as probable all week. They were changed to game-time decisions in the final report released 90 minutes before kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The SEC requires teams to post availability reports every day beginning Wednesday of conference game weeks. Saturday’s game against Georgia is Alabama’s first league game of the 2024 season.

Malachi Moore and Cole Adams were not listed in the report. Kalen DeBoer hinted that both were available during his appearance on the radio show Wednesday.

Georgia was much worse off than the Crimson Tide. However, the report listed defensive lineman Mykel Williams as a decision during the game, positive news for Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs.

Williams’ fellow defender Jordan Hall will be out on Saturday. The Bulldogs also lost two wide receivers in London Humphreys and Sacovie White, as well as running back Roderick Robinson and offensive lineman Tate Ratledge.

Both teams have a free break for Saturday’s game. The Crimson Tide beat Wisconsin on the road last time out and the Bulldogs survived a scare against Kentucky

Alabama and Georgia are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
