COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police have issued a shelter-in-place order for a neighborhood in northwest Colorado Springs.

Police have asked people in the area of ​​Lanagan Street and Aubrey Way along Flying W Ranch Road to lock their doors and stay away from windows. The curfew was imposed shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police say they are looking for a wanted person. It is currently unclear why the person is wanted.

A News 5 viewer who lives on Flying W Ranch Road called our newsroom and said she saw at least three police vehicles heading to the area.
