ESPN launches 19th season of “Monday Night Football” and announces additional NFL programming

ESPN starts its 19th broadcast season Monday Night Football on Monday, September 9, when Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets visit Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers at 8 p.m. EST. The multiplatform presentation will be preceded by the season debut of Monday evening countdown two hours before the main show and a two-hour episode of NFL Liveall live from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
