In “The Perfect Couple,” Nicole Kidman plays Greer Garrison Winbury, the matriarch of the Winbury family who has built a literary empire with her crime series “Dolly Hardaway.” Having spent most of her adult life cultivating the image of the perfect couple and the perfect family, Greer sees Amelia’s outsider status as a threat and doesn’t hesitate to correct her.

Liev Schreiber as Tag Winbury
Liev Schreiber plays Tag Winbury, Greer’s husband, whom she portrayed in her novels as Dash to her Dolly despite his selfish qualities. Together, Tag and Greer have three sons: Thomas, Benji and Will.

Eve Hewson as Amelia Sacks

Meghann Fahy as Merritt Monaco
Meghann Fahy plays Merritt Monaco, Amelia’s best friend and maid of honor. Merritt is bold, confident and flirtatious, traits that pose a threat to the Winburys. Amelia confides in Merritt about her concerns about marrying Benji.

Dakota Fanning as Abby Winbury

Jack Reynor plays Thomas Winbury, Greer and Tag’s son who is married to Abby. Thomas resembles his father and is pretty much the most stereotypical rich jerk you can imagine, although he fits perfectly in maintaining the Winbury image.

Ishaan Khatter as Shooter Dival
Ishaan Khattar plays Shooter Dival, a close friend of Benji’s from boarding school who has developed a close relationship with the Winbury family that is perhaps a little too close for comfort.

Sam Nivola as Will Winbury
Sam Nivola plays Will Winbury, the Winburys’ youngest son, who is about to turn 18. Although he stays out of his family’s bigger problems, Will has his own rebellious moments.

Michael Beach as Dan Carter
