The mood in the Indiana Fever locker room seemed flawless on Wednesday night.
The Fever ended a long losing streak against the Connecticut Sun with an 84-80 win thanks to Kelsey Mitchell’s 23 points and Caitlin Clark’s 19. Lexie Hull, who has emerged as a key player for the team since returning from the Olympic break, contributed 17 points.

The three players stood on the podium after the game to speak to reporters, and a comment from Hull about her influence on the game left her teammates in an uproar.
“…Get as many balls as you can and take advantage of them…” Hull said before looking over at Clark and Mitchell and bursting into laughter.
“Oh, Lex,” Clark replied, trying to stay calm.
