Anna Sorokin, Dwight Howard and Jenn Tran are the headliners at “Dancing with the Stars”

Before Anna Sorokin puts on her dancing shoes, she has to put on her anklet.

The notorious con artist is headlining a motley crew of pop culture greats including former NBA drama king Dwight Howard, actress Tori Spelling and “Bachelorette” leading lady Jenn Tran on the next edition of “Dancing with the Stars,” ABC’s competition program announced Wednesday.

Sorokin, who is best known as the fake German heiress named “Anna Delvey,” is apparently allowed to dance while under house arrest while fighting against deportation.

Stories of Sorokin’s scams as a supposed socialite who used her charm to sneak into New York’s elite circles were dramatized in the popular 2022 Netflix miniseries “Inventing Anna.”

She spent more than three years in prison for fraud before being released in October 2022. She is currently under house arrest while facing deportation proceedings.

It was not immediately clear which government agency had to approve Sorokin’s participation in “DWTS.”

Representatives of the dancer-turned-con artist and “DWTS” were not immediately available for comment on Wednesday.

Not surprisingly, the athletes have always performed well on the dance competition show.

Previous winners include basketball player Iman Shumpert, figure skaters Adam Rippon, Kristi Yamaguchi and Meryl Davis, football players Donald Driver, Rashad Jennings, Hines Ward and Emmitt Smith, gymnasts Laurie Hernandez and Shawn Johnson, race car driver Helio Castroneves and speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno.

Howard played 18 seasons in the NBA and was one of the game’s best rebounders, grabbing 14,627 rebounds, which ranked him 10th on the all-time list.

But as great as the 6-foot-10 Atlanta native was as a player, he never got along well with his teammates and coaches. That may explain why one of the greatest talents of his generation moved to seven different NBA teams, including three times for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Television viewers will also be familiar with this season’s “DWTS” contestants, Tran and Joey Graziadei.

Tran finished second in season 28 of “The Bachelor,” which also featured tennis player Graziadei.

Tran was then promoted to star of The Bachelorette, and the show’s 21st season ended in heartbreaking fashion on Tuesday.

She took the unusual step of proposing to Devin Strader, who said “yes” but dumped her on the phone days later. This left the aspiring medical assistant just as single as she had been at the beginning of the two dating shows.

Another big name in the series is Spelling, the former “Beverly Hills 90210” star and daughter of famous television producer Aaron Spelling.

Other participants include former New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola, bronze medal-winning gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, social media star and bronze medal-winning rugby player Ilona Maher, attorney and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” personality Phaedra Parks, actor Eric Roberts, “Family Matters” actor Reginald VelJohnson, model Brooks Nader and former Disney star Chandler Kinney.
