RICHMOND, TX (Katy News) — Lazy Dog Restaurants plans to hire more than 150 employees for its new location on Highway 99 in the Waterview Estates area, the company announced Wednesday. The restaurant is scheduled to open in October at 4810 Waterview Meadow Drive in Richmond, making it the chain’s third location in the Houston area.

Lazy Dog is looking for servers, cooks, bartenders, busboys and hosts. Applications can be submitted online on the Lazy Dog website, via text message or by calling the restaurant directly. Interviews will be held at the new location Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Influenced by the Rocky Mountain lifestyle where Simms grew up with his family, Lazy Dog aims to provide the warmth and care found in a small mountain town. The restaurant will feature a Rocky Mountain-inspired design, with lodge-style furnishings, stone accents and artwork reflecting Wyoming’s natural beauty. A large outdoor patio with a fire pit will provide space for gatherings.
