A man charged with murder in the killing of another man who was found dead in a Plano home on Tuesday was arrested at DFW Airport on Wednesday morning, police said.

Officers arrested Andrew James Swetland, 39, of Los Angeles, in connection with the killing of 69-year-old Patrick King of Elburn, Illinois, police said. It is unclear if Swetland has an attorney.

“He was arrested at DFW early this morning due to the solid work of the department,” police spokeswoman Jennifer Chapman said in an email.

Police officers and firefighters responded to a report of a dead person at a home in the 4600 block of Bending Oak Trail, near Palm Valley Drive and Robinson Road, around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. They found King, who was pronounced dead inside the home.

Chapman said while the department was waiting for the medical examiner to determine King’s cause of death, there was evidence of blunt force trauma. She said the department would not release details about how Swetland was found.
