LINKIN PARK’s countdown ends without announcement: “It’s only a matter of time”

LINKIN-PARKThe mysterious 100-hour countdown ended today (Wednesday, August 28) at 11:15 a.m. PDT, only to make a mistake, reset, and start counting up from zero again. A short time later LINKIN-PARK took to social media to post, “It’s only a matter of time…” At 00:09:05, there was another number error for a few seconds, and several fans captured the moment and shared it on social media. Some fans speculated that the numbers 9 and 5 refer to the date September 5, which is a week away, and believed that more information would follow next week.

LINKIN-PARK launched the 100-hour countdown timer on its website and official social media accounts on Saturday, August 24. The same countdown timer was used by the Instagram Account of Welcome to Rockvillewhich fuels speculation that some of the surviving members of the band will appear at the next edition of the Danny Wimmer presents-produced festival scheduled to take place May 15-18, 2025 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Last May, Billboard reported that LINKIN-PARK considered a possible reunion tour in 2025 with a singer as a replacement for the deceased lead singer Chester Bennington.
