Nick Castellanos hits a three-run home run to lead the Phillies to victory over the Astros

The Philadelphia Phillies won again on Tuesday night, defeating the Houston Astros with a final score of 5-0.

With this win, the Phillies extended their winning streak to four games. Could this possibly mean they are back to being the dominant, elite World Series contender they were earlier this year?

Leading the way in yesterday’s game, outfielder Nick Castellanos hit a three-run home run in the third inning.

Here is a video of the Castellanos home run:

Castellanos has had an up and down season. He has shown signs of being an elite hitter, but has also gone through major lows. Philadelphia really needs him to be productive in the final stretch of the season.

With his great performance on Tuesday, Castellanos has 18 home runs and 71 RBIs this season and his batting average is .250/.303/.421.

Later in the game, Trea Turner hit an RBI single and Alec Bohm hit an RBI double.

Aaron Nola once again had a dominant start on the mound. He pitched seven innings, allowing just four hits, no runs, one walk and six strikeouts.

Beating a team like Houston and knocking them out is no easy task. The Astros were one of the strongest teams in baseball not so long ago and lead the AL West Division race. These were big wins for the Phillies.

Next up, Philadelphia will try to defeat the Astros in three games today at 4:05 p.m. EST. They will be looking to win their fifth game in a row.

Hopefully Castellanos and the rest of the offense will continue to play at a high level. If the bats get back into their stride, the Phillies will have a very good chance of making the postseason.
