Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail and Frasca Hospitality Group are pleased to announce a new partnership to open Tavernetta Vail Winter 2024.

“We couldn’t be happier to partner with Bobby and Colorado-based Frasca Hospitality Group to bring the beloved Tavernetta brand to Vail,” said Jerome Arribas, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Vail. “This restaurant promises to set a new culinary standard and enrich our destination with unforgettable experiences and a vibrant ambience, while bringing the style of ‘La Dolce Vita’ to the town of Vail.”

Like its namesake in Denver, Tavernetta Vail will offer a menu that explores all of Italy, capturing the rich flavors of the north and the vibrant tastes of the south, while celebrating the mountain culture and diverse cuisine of the country’s alpine regions. Tavernetta Vail will also offer an exclusively Italian wine list, as well as a full Champagne offering and an extensive Italian-influenced spirits and digestif selection.

Tavernetta’s Denver location was recognized last August when it was included in the first edition of the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand list, which recognizes restaurants where diners can enjoy quality food that is also considered good value. Tavernetta’s sister restaurant Frasca in Boulder received a coveted Michelin star last September – one of only five Colorado restaurants to do so – when the Michelin Guide debuted in Colorado.

“Four Seasons shares our commitment to hospitality excellence and we are confident that the alignment of our organizations will enable us to deliver an unparalleled culinary experience to this world-class resort and year-round destination,” said Bobby Stuckey., Co-founder of Frasca Hospitality Group and Master Sommelier. “We look forward to working with the Four Seasons Vail team to realize our shared vision and welcome new and returning guests to Vail this winter.”

Led by Studio Collective, the award-winning design group from Venice, California, and OZ Architects of Denver, the space, previously home to Flame Restaurant, will undergo a major renovation. Tavernetta Vail will feature multiple indoor/outdoor areas, including a new bar and lounge, as well as cozy sitting areas ideal for post-ski dinner or a mid-morning snack before a day of adventure. A renovated private dining room will be located at the far end of the restaurant, ideal for small meetings, family gatherings and important life events. Other furnishings feature fine details to highlight thoughtful craftsmanship, with nods to famed Italian architect Gio Ponti.

“We designed a modern space that complements the spectacular surrounding mountains by incorporating an abundance of natural materials and elegant details that honor Vail’s heritage as a premier destination for upscale experiences, be it exceptional dining or world-class skiing,” said Christian Schulz., Design Director and Partner at Studio Collective. “Together with the teams at Tavernetta and Four Seasons Vail, we are bringing this vision to life, seamlessly blending Italian charm with mountain coziness to create an inviting ambience for an exceptional dining experience.”

Tavernetta Vail is one of several new additions announced at Four Seasons Resort Vail, including a redesigned spa and comprehensive wellness program, renovated suites and an expanded ski concierge. Follow the restaurant’s progress on Instagram @tavernettavail.
