North Augusta, SC – The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A Carolina League affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, in partnership with Augusta Technical College and WORC Grant, are pleased to announce the 4th annual Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Night at SRP Park.

Students and families are invited to attend on Friday, August 16. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans will receive a unique rally cap from Augusta Technical College and access to the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Fair in the Main Hall.

“Over the past three years, we have been able to inspire and ignite the passion of thousands of children about advanced manufacturing and engineering technologies,” said Dr. Jermaine Whirl, President of Augusta Technical College. “We look forward to continuing that tradition this year with our manufacturing colleagues and introducing them to the many career opportunities available to them through the CSRA.”

Each year, the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Night showcases the great manufacturing and industrial landscape found here in our region to CSRA. This evening offers CSRA students in grades 1-12 and their parents a unique look into the world of STEM education and opportunities. Participating exhibitors provide students with hands-on experience with virtual and augmented reality, robotics, 3D animation and printers, and much more!
