Aaron Judge of the Yankees effortlessly steals a home run and creates a double play against the Nationals

Although much of the talk surrounding Aaron Judge’s MVP-worthy campaign focused on his offense, the superstar outfielder reminded everyone that he is also a top-notch defender.

In Monday’s game against the Washington Nationals, Judge did more than his part, stopping two runs in the fourth inning.

Nationals infielder Andres Chaparro got a hold of a pitch from Nestor Cortes and hit it into deep center field. Judge chased after it and, thanks to his 6-foot-4 stature, was able to leap up and catch the ball out of the air into his glove for a two-run home run.

After presenting the umpires with proof of his flawless catch, Judge suddenly realized that the game was still in progress and he threw the ball precisely to the cut-off man, who then completed a double play at first base.

Check out Judge’s defensive heroics:

Judge made it look easy when he reached up and caught what could have been a home run, and he stayed cool and collected when he threw the ball to Gleyber Torres for a double play.

Seriously, what can’t this guy do?
