Planning Commission to discuss changes to Emporium and The Yard on Wednesday

The Park City Planning Commission meets Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.

Agenda items provided by the City include:

Public hearing and vote on building height at Park and Kearns Development (formerly Yarrow)

The commission will review the Park and Kearns Master Planned Development, hold a public hearing and vote on the building height parameters specified in the application. The public hearing will then proceed to the Planning Commission meeting on September 11 for any final decisions.

In January, the commission held a working session to review plans for the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel and expressed concerns about the required building height.
Exceptions within the sensitive corridor of the Frontage Protection Zone.

Working meeting to discuss changes to the Emporium and The Yard properties

Commissioners will hold a work session to review a proposal to expand parking at 1251 Kearns Boulevard (Emporium), to enclose an outdoor dining area at 1351 Kearns Boulevard (The Yard), and to establish a parking arrangement between the two commercial properties. The applicant will also receive feedback on any additional information required for the application.
