Cape Cod Gateway Airport plans series of planning meetings

Press release from Cape Cod Gateway Airport.

HYANNIS, MA — The Cape Cod Gateway Airport Commission, in conjunction with airport management, will hold a series of four meetings to discuss the airport’s long-term strategic planning initiatives. The MVP (Mission, Vision, Philosophy) strategic planning model will be used as a framework for developing a plan for future airport operations and improvements.

“As Cape Cod Gateway Airport begins developing a long-term strategic plan, commission members and management believe that engaging broad representation from the airport’s neighboring communities and the region it serves will produce the most comprehensive and desired outcome,” said Katie Servis, Cape Cod Gateway Airport manager. “We look forward to working with community members to develop a strategic plan that incorporates stakeholder input.”

Participation involves attending a series of meetings over the course of four weeks. Each meeting will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and will consist of the following sessions:

  • Session 1: MVP Model for Strategic Planning Training (Monday, August 26)
  • Session 2: Developing Mission, Vision and Philosophy Statements (Monday, September 9)
  • Session 3: Developing goals and objectives (Monday, 23 September)
  • Session 4: Final review of the Airport MVP strategic plan (date to be announced)

All meetings will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cape Cod Gateway Airport Terminal, Gate 1, 1st Floor, 480 Barnstable Rd, Hyannis, MA 0260.

Participants are asked to attend at least three scheduled sessions, including the first training meeting on Monday, August 26.
