ORLANDO, Florida. – Labor Day gas prices in Florida could be at their lowest in three years, according to AAA.
Statewide, gasoline prices averaged $3.27, the lowest average daily price in two months.
According to AAA, prices rose 8 cents early last week, then reversed course and fell 9 cents by the weekend.

“Low oil prices have kept prices at the pump in check,” AAA spokesman Mark Jenkins said in a news release. “Floridians planning to travel over Labor Day weekend will likely find the lowest gas prices for the holiday weekend in three years.”
Florida drivers paid $3.68 per gallon on Labor Day 2023 and $3.52 over the holiday weekend in 2022. The national average was $3.02 per gallon over Labor Day weekend in 2021.
