HOLIDAY REFLECTIONS at Union Station returns for historic 5th season

With the holiday season just around the corner, Union Station has announced the start of advance ticket sales for Holiday Reflections. Presented by BOK Financial and supported by CPKC, Russell Stover and PGAV, Holiday Reflections returns to the Grand Plaza for the fifth consecutive year and spans a remarkable 25,000 square feet. This enchanting experience features giant lights, delightful exhibits, numerous decorated trees, appearances by Santa Claus, new life-sized sparkling photo opportunities, a mini train, a holiday-themed VR ride and more.

“Last year, over 250,000 guests experienced our holiday attractions. Whether they came to watch a holiday classic on the Extreme Screen or stroll through the magical, selfie-filled Holiday Reflections village, we were an integral part of making memories for our guests,” said George Guastello, President and CEO of Union Station. “We are truly a holiday destination that Kansas City looks forward to each year. Union Station has become Kansas City’s home for the holidays for families from across the metropolitan area and beyond. Due to popular demand, Union Station is offering ticket sales NOW so guests can make their plans early and once again participate in this beloved Kansas City tradition.

Holiday Reflections will open on November 22, 2024 and run through January 1, 2025. Tickets are $10* daily, making it an affordable experience for individuals, families and group outings. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with last admission at 7:00 p.m. Returning guest favorites include the mini ride-along train, appearances by Santa, spectacular holiday-themed photo ops and the popular model trains. *No conservation fee.

In the coming weeks, station officials plan to announce the full lineup of holiday events, including the return of Tinsel and Tinis’ (a pop-up adult bar in Holiday Reflections) and more activities for the 2024 season. Previews of new exhibits and photo opportunities during Holiday Reflections will also be released. Don’t miss this heartwarming Kansas City tradition!
