El Patrón opens new Mexican restaurant in Ocala

A new Mexican restaurant has just opened in southwest Ocala.

El Patron Mexican Grill and Bar is now open at 3101 SW 34th Avenue, #1000. The new restaurant is located in the Shoppes at Paddock Park, near Paddock Mall.

Billed as a “fiesta for your taste buds,” the restaurant combines flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine with the “warmth and hospitality of Texas culture,” according to a statement on its website.

Ocala-News.com first reported on the new Mexican restaurant in April.

El Patron serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and opens daily at 10 a.m. Several classic dishes are available for breakfast, including Huevos (Eggs) Rancheros, which consists of two fried eggs with tomatoes, onions and peppers.

For lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers an extensive menu of traditional, authentic Mexican dishes, including classics such as tacos, burritos, tostadas, enchiladas, tamales and tortas, Mexican sandwiches with fried beets, proteins and various other fillings.
