This 32-year-old man went out a few days ago to celebrate his friend Matt’s thirtieth birthday.
Matt invited him and some of their other friends to a bar and restaurant one evening. The goal was to eat, drink and relax together.
However, Matt’s girlfriend was also there and she decided to invite some of her own friends – one of them was a girl named Jane.
Throughout the evening, Jane also apparently tried to talk to him.
“Being an introvert, it was kind of uncomfortable for me and I felt like the conversations with her were going nowhere,” he recalls.
Around midnight he finally decided to go home. But he still couldn’t escape Jane.
Instead, she approached him, claimed that she wanted to leave too, and asked if he could give her a ride back to her house. He then asked where she lived and realized that she wasn’t in his way at all.
This prompted him to tell Jane that she should just ask someone else to drive her home. She then asked him if he was sure he couldn’t help her, and he stuck to his opinion.
“Jane was visibly drunk, but I thought she had a group of friends so someone would give her a ride. Plus, I was dead tired and just wanted to go back and sleep,” he explained.
