As Houston Restaurant Week comes to a close, Jersey Village officials hope to shine a spotlight on their own city’s dining scene with the first-ever Jersey Village Restaurant Week.
From September 7-14, restaurants and food trucks such as Good Eatz, Senate Avenue Brewery, Adriatic Café, Little Meadow Kitchen & Cocktails, Little Kitchen HTX, Flavorz of Negril Food Truck, It’s Nola Baaaby Food Truck and CC’s Hot Tamales and BBQ Food Truck will be offering special deals.
Miesha Johnson, Jersey Village’s community development manager, said this is an opportunity for the city to attract visitors from other parts of the Houston area.
“Every place I looked at in Jersey Village had very good reviews and all these things, and I wonder how many people outside of Jersey Village know about it,” Johnson said.
She said the city’s independently owned restaurants also offer excellent customer service.
Jersey Village will also host its first Texas Star Foodie Awards on September 6, honoring local restaurants and food influencers in advance of Restaurant Week.
Johnson believes Jersey Village is full of hidden gems, with dishes like oxtail at Flavorz of Negril, fish and chips at Senate Avenue Brewery or banana pudding at Good Eats.

Enjoy your meal: Specials on brisket, hot dogs, chicken and grilled cheese.
Little Meadow Kitchen & Cocktails: Little Meadow Kitchen & Cocktails offers a $40 menu with appetizers, main courses and dessert.
Small kitchen HTX: Little Kitchen HTX offers a $20 menu with choices for appetizers, main courses and dessert.
Senate Avenue Brewery: Senate Avenue is offering week-long specials on Chicken Fried Steak, Beef Bulgogi Bowl, Steak Night and Fish & Chips.
Adriatic Cafe: Adriatic Café offers $5 off any $25 purchase.
Taste of Negril: Flavorz of Negril offers its guests a 10% discount.
