Dead by Daylight announces various gameplay integrations and concrete details about the upcoming collaboration with Castlevania.

Dracula has come from the popular Castlevania game series. This new killer can take many forms, and this transformation ability will help him stalk his prey in the mist while taking the form of either a wolf or a bat. His abilities focus on slowing down the speed at which the Obsession can repair generators, and hindering any survivors trying to find items in chests or cleanse totems. With these skills and powers in mind, here are some Builds that can help Dracula dominate in Dead by daylight.

4 Best Domination Perk Build

Control the survivors

On its own, this may not be a particularly strong advantage, but when combined with other benefits, it can actually prove to be very useful:

  • Dominance: Blocks chests and totems for 4/6/8 seconds and displays the auras in white.
  • Curse: Devour Hope (The Witch): Gain tokens when Survivors are rescued from a hook that is at least 24 meters away. At 3 tokens, all Survivors suffer from the Endangered status, and at 5 tokens, they can be killed by hand.
  • Curse: Immortal (The Plague): Allows you to read the aura around dull totems.
  • Witch: Pentimento (Artist): Allows purified totems to be relit and also slows down repairs, healing, etc.

Dracula’s Dominance Advantage can be used very effectively when combined with Hex perks. When Survivors cleanse a Totem for the first time in the game, they will notice that Hex: Undying is in play. This will encourage them to keep cleaning to get rid of that pesky aura meter. While they cleanse, the Killer can quickly reignite Totems with Hex: Pentimento, further slowing Survivors’ progress. Survivors will want to keep cleaning to remove those slowing effects as well. As long as the Killer has Survivors on the hook, Hex: Devour Hope will be the game changer mid-game, and once Survivors realize this is the fourth perk, it will be too late.

3 Best Curse: Wretched Fate Perk Build

Surrender to their fate

It’s really pathetic to be one of the few Doomed facing the Dark Lord. This perk focuses on the Survivor marked as Possession and can be quite powerful when combined with other Hex and Slow perks. Even if the Survivors are playing with friends, this build is devastating:

  • Hex: Miserable Fate: Cursed is the obsession with generator slow effects.
  • Witch: Pentimento (The Artist): Grants the ability to relight purified totems and also slows down repairs, healing, etc.
  • Curse: Immortal (The Plague): Reveals the auras of survivors near dull totems. Once another hex perk is cleansed, another one is activated and the perks are transferred.
  • Curse: Haunted Ground (Spirit): When cleansed or blessed, all survivors suffer from the Endangered status effect.

The combination of these four Hex Perks can send Survivors into a panic as they try to figure out whether to purge or gen rush. The Survivor marked as Obsession is already significantly slowed by Hex: Wretched Fate, so add Hex: Pentimento to the mix and their repair and healing speed will slow to a crawl. This will prompt them to attempt to purge Wretched Fate, only to find that the perks have been transferred to another Totem thanks to Hex: Undying. Either that, or they accidentally purge Haunted Ground and expose their entire team, a dilemma the Killer will no doubt take delight in.

2 Best Human Greed Perk Build

Uncover all greedy survivors

There’s nothing more satisfying than taking advantage of human greed. Survivors love finding and collecting new items from chests, and Killers can use this to their advantage:

  • Human greed: Killers can kick chests open, revealing their aura in white. Opening speed is increased by 50% and the auras of nearby survivors are revealed for 3 seconds.
  • Horder (The Twins): Creates two additional chests and generates a sound notification when a survivor opens a chest or picks up a nearby item.
  • Weave tuning (The Lich): A survivor’s aura is displayed when they are near a dropped item.
  • Franklin’s downfall (The Cannibal): Survivors drop their items when hit by the Killer’s main attack.

This build is based on the greedy nature of survivors and their need to have a flashlight or toolbox in hand. Franklin’s is a classic perk that survivors loathe as it hits any item they don’t have in hand at the time. Combine that with Weave Attunement for a perfect aura reading build. When they pick up their item or try to grab a new one from a chest, they’ll give away their location thanks to Horder and Human Greed.

1 Best Endgame Build

In this episode of “Just Leave” …

Nea crouches at the exit gate

Dracula comes with some fantastic add-ons that shouldn’t be overlooked when creating a devastating perk build. One of the best Dracula add-ons is his ultra-rare Alucard Shield, which can cause absolute chaos at the exit gates when combined with a spiteful endgame build like the following:

  • No one escapes death: After the final generator is completed, a cloudy totem will be illuminated, causing all survivors to enter the Endangered status.
  • Bloodguard (Deadshot): If a Survivor is hooked after the exit gates are opened, the Entity blocks the Survivors’ escape.
  • Remember me (Nightmare): Increases the time required to open the gate.
  • No way out (Trickster): Prevents the survivor from unlocking the gate.

This classic endgame combo above is already devastating to survivors, especially if they haven’t bothered to cleanse totems. Combining all of these benefits with Dracula’s Alucard’s Shield adds a whole new level of nastiness to the proceedings. This ultra-rare add-on continuously creates pillars of fire in the exit gate that damage survivors who run through them. This extra help can be the difference between survivors escaping or them all getting trapped inside with Blood Warden.
