Hills Machinery opens its third Virginia location in Chesapeake

Hills Machinery has opened its 13th location with its new full-service facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. Chesapeake is the third location in Hills’ expansion into Virginia, following growth in Wise and Ashland, Virginia. Hills has 10 other locations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

The new Chesapeake location offers Hills’ full line of products and services, including new and rental equipment sales, used equipment sales and equipment financing solutions. Leading brands distributed by Hills in Virginia include Hitachi Construction Equipment, Astec (including the Roadtec and Carlson brands), Eagle Crusher, Mauldin, RubbleMaster and Sakai.

“There is a diverse and widespread demand for sales, service and support for compact and heavy equipment in Virginia – from traditional commercial and industrial construction to mining,” said Jim Hills, president of Hills Machinery. “We have the opportunity to supply some of the most trusted and respected names in equipment to companies here in the state, including world-leading earthmoving and paving brands like Hitachi and Astec. And we are committed to the same level of service in Virginia that has made us a trusted partner to companies throughout Georgia and the Carolinas.”

With this expansion comes a continued commitment to providing 24/7 service to customers as the company serves industries known to place high demands on equipment, such as road construction, crushing and grinding.

“We have invested in people and tools to put service, parts availability and uptime support at the heart of every interaction with our customers, and business owners and fleet managers will experience that level of professionalism and service at Hills,” said Hills.
