It’s hard to believe, but in less than a month summer will be over. To be precise, the last day of summer will be September 22nd.

Of course, we will miss many of the great activities that make summer so great. Many people will also miss the extra daylight that comes every summer.

But while many people are slowly becoming disappointed that the weather is getting cooler, others are already counting down the days until they can get back on the slopes.

It’s no secret that Colorado has some of the best – if not the best – ski resorts in the entire country.

Whether you’re heading to Steamboat, Vail, Breckenridge, or one of the many other resorts, the number of elite locations is almost too large to choose from.

However, it appears that one of Colorado’s most popular ski resorts is up for sale.

Eldora Mountain offered for sale by POWDR

Eldora Mountain is one of Colorado’s most famous and possibly underrated ski resorts.

Opened in 1962 and located near Nederland, it’s a short drive for many people from the Front Range, especially if they’re in Boulder.

In 2016, there was a pretty big sell-off when the company POWDR, which owns Copper Mountain and many other resorts and experiences, purchased Eldora Mountain Resort.

But only eight years later, the ski resort seems to have already finished operating.

To some extent They said the property was intended to balance their portfolio, which includes other projects in national parks as well as an action sports park, and are now offering it for sale.

The company recently sold a property in Vermont, but also has resorts for sale in Canada and Oregon.

Will Eldora Mountain be open for the 2024/2025 season?

While POWDR is offering the properties and resorts for sale, fans of these locations can breathe a sigh of relief.

The answer is yes, Eldora will be open for the 2024/2025 season.

In fact, POWDR will continue to operate not only Eldora, but all resorts that are for sale until someone buys them.
