The new Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is almost finished. It replaces the previous ESPN The club’s new offering at the resort includes a dining experience, bakery and afternoon tea service.
Laughing Place had a chance to check out the progress of The Cake Bake Shop, and it looks like things are really moving along. The experience, created by Gwendolyn Rogers, is set to open in the near future, but no opening date has been announced. Once open, the delicious offerings will showcase cakes and pastries that will blow guests away in both appearance and taste. Throughout the restaurant, guests will find elegant, French-inspired decor that is sure to be a hit with fans. The walls surrounding the future dining room are still standing, and construction equipment is being used on-site as work continues on the facade.
