Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nani were seen together in the 2012 films Eega and Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu. The actors met by chance at the airport.

Actors Nani and Samantha Ruth Prabhu bumped into each other at the Hyderabad airport on Thursday. The duo were on their way to Mumbai for various events when they met at the airport. Samantha even posted a selfie she took with Nani on her Instagram stories. Samantha meets Nani

Samantha took to Instagram to share a selfie of her and Nani smiling as they pose for a photo together in flight. She captioned it, “@nameisnani the sweetest surprise today (white heart emoji). Happy #saripodhaasanivaaram (strong emoji).”

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala also shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Nani and Samantha chatting at the airport. They looked engrossed in their conversation as they boarded the shuttle for their flight to Mumbai. Nani was heard telling Samantha about his upcoming film.

A fan commented on the ‘Eega reunion’ video with a heart eyes emoji, while others left heart emojis to express their love for the couple. For the uninitiated, Nani and Samantha starred together in SS Rajamouli’s 2012 film ‘Eega’ and in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu’, which released the same year.

What are you doing in Mumbai?

Nani is in Mumbai to promote his upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya. The film will release on August 29 and stars Priyanka Mohan and SJ Suryah in lead roles. The film tells the story of a man who suffers from anger outbursts and, because of a promise he made to his mother, decides to channel his anger into justice only on Saturdays.

Samantha is in Mumbai for the World Pickleball League. She is now the owner of the Chennai franchise. She recently shared the news on Instagram: “Starting a pickleball team wasn’t just a decision; it was a belief. A nod to my younger self and a commitment to every little girl who was told she couldn’t do this. We are here to prove that we absolutely can.”
